Brief Description
The purpose of the hotel is to let you take in the surrounding nature. As you enter Hotel Føroyar, the journey to the view begins. This first part of the journey is the build-up. Dark corridors like inside a puffin cave, with some hints of what is to come. Finally, you enter your room, open the curtains. There it is.
Hotel Føroyar was designed by Friis and Moltke with the intention to really allow guests to experience the vast nature of the Faroe Islands with magnificent views. Hotel Føroyar is located on the mountainside overlooking the capital city, Tórshavn. It is a 30-minute walk or a 5-minute drive to the city center.

Brief Description
Rest well at our new hotel in Torshavn, just five minutes from the beautiful Svartafoss Waterfall, Nordic House, and the National Museum of the Faroe Islands. Brief Description
Hotel Brandan is a green four-star superior hotel. It is located in the heart of Gundadalur only a few minutes’ walk from Tórshavn’s town square, main shopping centre and the national football stadium and sports centre. The hotel has 124 rooms and 4 meeting rooms, in addition to saunas, a fitness suite, hot tubs and 110 parking spaces.

Brief Description

The chefs in our restaurant are trained professionals, and they love challenging themselves by cooking new food every day – from scratch of course. Brief Description
Built in 1948, just three years after the end of the Second World War, it was a house like none other in the Faroe Islands.
Havgrímur Johannesen from Tórshavn built the house. It was designed by Eyðálvur á Heygum to Havgrím’s specifications, taking inspiration from his many sailing trips to Great Britain. The house was to have a stately entrance, conservatory with steps leading down to the garden, a study and servant’s rooms. In 1952 the house was sold to the Danish State.
No less than 21 Danish Commodores and their families have made the house their home. Hanging in the reception is a list of the names of all the dignitaries who have lived there.
The last Commodore left in 2013 and an agreement was made with the Danish State, that the Faroese Government would take over responsibility for the house. However in 2016 the Government decided to sell the house.
